The safety and well-being of you children is of paramount importance to us. To enable us to account for all the children in our care, parents are asked to telephone school or call in as soon as possible should their child be absent for any reason. If we have not heard form you by 10:30 a.m. on the first day of absence then we will call you to ensure that there are no problems. If we have been unable to contact you by the close of school on the second day of absence, we will inform the Pupil Welfare Officer. Appointments Please endeavour to arrange appointments out of school hours. However, on the rare occasions that this is not possible please inform us in writing, indicating the nature of the appointment and what time you will be collecting / returning your child to school. Punctuality Please ensure that your child as the best possible start to each day by arriving on time. Registers are taken promptly at 9:00 a.m. and lessons begin at 9:05 a.m Holidays The Governors wish to remind parents that holidays taken in school time seriously disrupt their child's education. Holiday Form Should parents wish to take a holiday during term time, they must apply to the Headteacher for leave of absence using the School Holiday Form. Please note that in exceptional cases the Headteacher may use her discretion to grant up to a maximum of 10 days authorised absence for this purpose.
