Please note that the designated disabled parking spaces in the school car parks are for blue badge and Marton disabled parking permit holders only.
If you are not a permit or badge holder, please refrain from using these spaces as they are needed for parents of disabled children attending our school at various times throughout the day. |

Children in Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed taking part in an Indian Day this week to support their understanding of cultural relationships, customs and attitudes. The children dressed up in traditional costumes, tasted Indian food and even tried some Bollywood dance moves! |
|
Fantastic news - our High Fives Netball team are the overall Blackpool champions! The team have played magnificently over the last few months to beat off stiff competition from other local schools. The Marton Champions will now represent Blackpool in the Lancashire competition held next month.
As always the children showed great sportsmanship and behaviour and were a great credit to our school.
A special thank you must go to Mrs Hegarty for training the team to such a high standard. |

Parents and children at Marton Primary School have been supporting this year’s Sport Relief efforts. The school organised an action packed day with a variety of sport related activities, which saw children cover the distance of a mile around the school. Staff and children at the Blackpool school ran, skipped and hopped their way to raising over £280 for good causes around the world.
School teacher and event organiser Mr Smith said: “We're really proud of our healthy schools award and this has been a great opportunity, not only for the children to keep fit and healthy but to teach children the importance of helping others.
Building on our already strong links in the local community with other sporting organisations, we’re keen to develop our promotion of sports and a healthier lifestyle.”
Well done to all the children who took part and thank you to the parents for your support. |
