Thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Fair again this year. It was a resounding success, raising a magnificent £2242.
I am sure you will all join me in saying a very big thank you to the dedicated members of the P.T.F.A. for once again organising such a successful event. An incredible amount of preparation and hard work goes on behind the scenes to ensure that the evening runs smoothly and generates much needed funds for our children.

Non-School Uniform day
Next Friday, 16th October 2009
Next Friday, 16th October, children are invited to wear their own clothes, complete with wellies or boots, to school instead of their uniform. In return, we ask for a voluntary contribution of £1 per child (or £1:50 per family, if you have more than one child in school.) All monies raised go directly to the Farm Africa Charity, which the school is supporting as part of Harvest Festivities. We hope that you will support us in this event and thank you for your kind donations. It is greatly appreciated. |

Eurpoean Day of Languages |
The whole school thoroughly enjoyed celebrating European Day of Languages last Friday. The Children joined in lots of exciting and fun activities including flag making, food making and tasing as well as learning some of the language.
It was great to see so many of the children joining in by wearing clothes in the colours of the flag they were studying. The day proved to be a fabulous opportunity for everyone to learn something new about other cultures.
A big thank you to Mrs. Docherty for organising this special event.
