Better dinners for our Children |

We are proud of our healthy School Status and ask that parents support the important messages that we give to children by sending in healthy packed lunches. Please note that fizzy drinks, cans and sweets are not allowed at school and should not be sent in as part of packed lunches.
For great ideas on alternative healthy options see the National Health Services’ ‘Change 4 Life’ programme available on www.nhs.uk/change4life

Y1 Visit to Fleetwood Museum |
Children in Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the Fleetwood Museum to support their learning in the ‘Houses and Homes’ History topic. The children dressed up in Victorian children's outfits, handled lots of artefacts from a Victorian home, set a table for High Tea and even dressed up in a Victorian bathing suit!
They had a wonderful time and were a credit to the school.
Well done boys and girls, we're very proud of you all. |

Marton at the M.E.N Arena! |

Marton Primary School choir recently joined 8,000 other children from across the North West of England to sing in the Young Voices concert at the M.E.N. arena, Manchester to an audience of over 14,000. Also starring in the show were the classical superstar band, All Angels, Urban Strides, street dance specialists and choristers from Liverpool Cathedral. The children thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and gave a fantastic performance. As usual they should be congratulated on their exemplary behaviour.
Well done children, We're very proud of you all.
